Visiting the Thompsons in Hampstead

Iain Mackenzie kindly drew attention to an entry in the 1911 census entry mentioning "Geoffrey Broadbent Thompson (b1902)" living in a 'large house in Hampstead with 5 servants'. He and his brother (also with the middle name Broadbent) were the children of Owen ('misread as “Orven”') and Mary Elizabeth Thompson (b1868), and on that day they were being visited by "Capt. John Theodore Crofton Broadbent (29) Indian Army (Simla)". It is possible that this Mary Elizabeth was born a Broadbent, and may have been the eldest daughter of Sir William Henry Broadbent (1835-1907) who would therefore be being visited by her first cousin.
